Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how ServiceVouch ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). It applies both to our direct customers (the businesses that use ServiceVouch) and to the end customers whose feedback is collected through the Service.
For data that businesses collect from their own customers through the Service, the business is the data controller and ServiceVouch acts as a processor, handling that data on the business’s behalf and under its instructions.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: name, email address, password, business name, and plan details when you register.
- Customer feedback data: ratings, written feedback, names, email addresses, phone numbers, and any attachments submitted through a business’s feedback page.
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and similar analytics collected automatically when you use the Service.
- Integration data: information you authorize us to access from connected services such as Google Business Profile (for example, business locations and reviews).
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- Process feedback submissions and notify businesses of new reviews.
- Send transactional messages, such as review requests on a business’s behalf, account notifications, and support responses.
- Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Service:
- Service providers: hosting, email delivery, analytics, and similar vendors that process data on our behalf under contract.
- Integrations you enable: when you connect a third-party service such as Google Business Profile, we exchange data with it at your direction.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. We use Google Tag Manager and associated analytics tools. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function without them.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Businesses may request deletion of customer feedback data they control.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of the EEA/UK (under GDPR) and California (under the CCPA/CPRA) have specific rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@servicevouch.com. If your data was submitted to a business that uses ServiceVouch, we may direct your request to that business as the controller of the data.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption of sensitive credentials and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which it was collected. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
10. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email and update the "Last updated" date above.
